Safety Features

Garage doors have become much safer in recent years. If you remember old garage doors, they were extremely heavy and didn't even have a reversing mechanism built in. Those days are over. Modern doors come with a bevvy of safety features that protect your family, home, vehicles, and more.

Newer models include a rolling code feature. It makes it much harder for a potential burglar to access the code that will open the door. Our new garage doors all offer modern safety features, and we are able to service and repair your existing lights, backup batteries, keyless entry pads, remote controls, sensors, and more.

Lights

The garage door opener often functions as the primary, if not only, light source in the garage. Standard units can handle two 60-watt bulbs.

Battery Backup

When your electrical power is knocked out, the backup kicks in and allows you to activate the unit.

Keyless Entry Pad.

A keyless entry pad is mounted just outside the garage door. Enter the proper code and the door will open. Newer units can be activated by reading your fingerprint.

Remote Control

One remote control is included with new garage door openers.

Wall Controls

A wall-mounted control pad is a standard feature. Use it to open and close the door and to turn the light on and off.
